Which Wrist Wear to Wear?

It’s something we don’t really want to admit to ourselves, but summer is almost over. Yes, really. You only need to look out the window to find yourself nodding in agreement. Perhaps you are also wearing a jumper indoors, just to keep yourself warm.

It’s a sad truth we don’t like to admit. The days of waking up to blistering sunshine beaming into our bedrooms has now been replaced with waking up to a gloomy - almost still dark, room.

But, there are some of us who are secretly looking forward to the winter months. Autumn brings conkers and acorns, brightly coloured leaves litter the pavements and the nights start drawing in earlier. Winter weather means lots of hot drinks to warm up our bones, layer upon layers of clothes to keep out the cold and evenings are spent snuggled under a blanket as we watch the TV.

More often than not, it is often the layering of clothes that we secretly love. Layers doesn’t mean bulking up so you can barely walk, layering can look effortlessly cool.

And we believe the right wristwatch can seamlessly finish off your outfit. Whether you are a huge fan of watches and have a solid collection, or if you are completely new to wrist wear and don’t know where to begin, we’ve put together our top picks from two of our current favourite brands.*

Casio for Him

Casio for Her

Casio is known for being one of the earliest manufacturers of quartz watches both digital and analog, with its first watch launched in 1974 and Casio still remains a trusted and popular brand to this day.

                                                                 Royal London for Him

   Royal London for Her

Introduced in 1998, Royal London quickly made a name for itself with high-quality and stylish watches. They remain as one of the most popular brands in the world, providing a great selection of ladies and gentlemen’s watches.

If you like the idea of having a watch that doesn’t look like a watch, the bracelet-style watches are the ones for you. No matter the colour or the size, your watch will always look sleek and polished.
Leather straps are an old comfortable favourite. And the more they are worn, the more the leather develops its own character against general day to day wearing.

For more information on any of our watches, please visit our website. Don’t let the colder weather get you down, lift your spirits with a good solid watch. You can thank us later. ;)

*Lies – we don’t have favourites. We love ALL the brands.
